Terms of Service

Last updated 29 July 2026·support@trailoapp.com

These terms govern use of Trailo at trailoapp.com and our mobile apps, operated by Mikolaj Piech in Poland. Contact: support@trailoapp.com. By using Trailo, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and keeping your login secure.

The service

Trailo is a travel planning app with AI assistance, collaboration, maps, and optional booking features. We may change or suspend features at any time.

Payments

Web purchases and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in billing settings. Refunds are not guaranteed once access is granted, except where required by law.

If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer rights apply. For digital services delivered immediately, you may be asked to consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your withdrawal right may end once delivery starts, where permitted by law.

AI and third parties

AI output may be wrong or outdated and is not professional travel advice. Verify important details yourself. Bookings, maps, and other travel services may be provided by third parties; their terms apply. We are not responsible for their errors, cancellations, or changes.

Trails and outdoor activities

Trailo may link to trail information published by parks, land managers, public authorities, or national mapping agencies. Trailo does not provide turn-by-turn trail or backcountry navigation. Map pins identify a trailhead, entrance, or parking area—not the route itself.

Outdoor conditions and official information can change. Before setting out, check the linked official map, current closures, weather, daylight, and local guidance. Stay on marked routes, assess whether the activity suits your health, skills, and equipment, and carry an appropriate independent navigation method where needed.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us permission to host, process, display, and share it as needed to run Trailo, including with collaborators you invite and service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

Trip documents use private member-authorized cloud storage. People you authorize as trip members may open and keep copies of files shared with that trip. A small number of files created under Trailo's retired end-to-end encryption system may still require their old recovery method before conversion. You should retain independent copies of essential travel documents.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, break the law, abuse others' data, bypass payment limits, or attempt unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect losses or for reliance on AI output or third-party services. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or EUR 50, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using Trailo at any time. You can permanently delete your account in the Trailo app (Account → Delete account) or on the web (account menu → Delete account). App Store or Google Play subscriptions are not cancelled by account deletion – manage those in the store settings. You can also contact support@trailoapp.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. EU consumers keep mandatory protections of their home country and may bring claims in their country of residence where the law allows. Information about recognized consumer dispute resolution bodies is available from the European Commission: consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

Changes

We may update these terms on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
